I would also like to point out...if you have 98k in a savings account you're a retard.
NEVER let a savings account get over around 85k. You are only insured up to 100,000 by FDIC. And if you are pulling interest on that 85k it doesn't take too awful long to get up to 100 grand.

i only have about $30,000 in my savings account that was one of my checking accounts...the other checking account is about $10,000

Because its unsecured debt and it will eventually go off your record, having bad credit and horrible credit isnt much of a difference. I'm pretty sure they cant' lock you up for not paying credit cards

Thats true and I keep my credit up in other purchases ...like vehicles...houses , atv's....and such....if I didn't have any money I'd probally be sunk .....but since I have enough money that I don't need credit...why worry about it?

good luck with that, they can garnish your wages if you screw them enough, but its alot of work for little return. Luckily if you make cash you don't have to worry about that

This thread is almost pissing me off now.

Last night I applyed for my third student loan for over the past 2 years.****ing $35,000, with an interest rate that is gonna be between 6-9%.

That puts my total to about $60,000 so far.

I have 3 more years of school....... at LEAST

Also profit from a house I owned and saving over the last few years. I am still saving as 90k don't get you much for a house, but a nice down payment on one.........then in a few years, I won't be able to afford it.

We wanted a house in the mid 100's as it would be in an awesome neigborhood, but looks like we are not going to go that route.

We are still debating........what is funny, I am having a hard time getting approved for a house, lawlers!
