dont you have lots of credit cards that are maxed out and not paid one cent on? i thought i saw that in another thread... seems like you would use some of your money to pay them off and be debt free. thats what i would do.

I would also like to point out...if you have 98k in a savings account you're a retard.

NEVER let a savings account get over around 85k. You are only insured up to 100,000 by FDIC. And if you are pulling interest on that 85k it doesn't take too awful long to get up to 100 grand.

but... you bought stuff with them obviously, and that stuff you did not pay for out of pocket.. so technically free. so shouldn't you pay on those credit cards? you used the credit card companies money to buy things and didnt pay them back.

Because its unsecured debt and it will eventually go off your record, having bad credit and horrible credit isnt much of a difference. I'm pretty sure they cant' lock you up for not paying credit cards
