just needing a lil help on ideas here. a few weeks ago when i did my work log, installed the 0 gauge and 4 channnel amp, i've noticed a signifigant decrease in my low end. on My sub amp, i had the gains all the way down, now i had to turn them up to about 1/4 -1/2 to get the same bass response. i also had to turn the sub volume on the HU up to about 13 outta 15. i thought it may be that since i started running the 4 channel, that the midbass and highs had gotten much louder, so i had to compensate by turning the sub amp gains up just a lil to even out the sound...NOW heres the other problem. when i sit with my truck running, or even driving after about 5 minutes of solid music listening with volume about 3/4, the voltage is now dropping down into the 12's (while running). i never had this problem before except when i had the problems with my old fuse holder not making solid contact creating a lot of resistance. thats what i think may be happening here. first instinct is too check power and ground wires, making sure they are solid. before anyone asks, my x-over settings did not change. 80hz lo on the sub 80hz hi on the mids and highs. ssf set at 25 hz. sub is wired correctly. all settings have been checked, just been to busy at work to really get into the wiring check. any ideas?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
