imma be runnin 2 15" XFLs on a Crescendo BC2000D on a Mechman 320. whats good for mids and highs? im lookin to spend around $300 or less for speakers tweeter and amp.

Yea the budget is pretty low for the amount of items wanted. ppi900.4 and pwx's and what ever tweets you like is what i would do tho

Wouldn't recommend a active set here without doing at least bullets and 2 sets of Mids in each door

I think he will need more aswell but with that budget I don't see how he can do better without going used which you already suggested

I just don't see him knowing how to build a correct active system Even more experienced veterans in car audio. Have issues with active set ups

well i can get a set of 6.5" KS Kickers and tweets on a BOSS sadly yes, a BOSS amp for 198. thought i could do around 300 for summ basic.

You can if you know who or where to look. I mean a set of cdt components and a small 2 channel can be had for $300 plus shipping

id get a set of jbl ms62c, and a ppi bk 520.4 will run about 320 shipped.

those polk momos mylows has are sweet. and for 100 shipped, he could get himself a nice 2 or 4 ch ppi phantom amp and still come in under 300. that would be my vote.

no...

go with the jbl ms62s on a ppi amp. Those kickers will not keep up especially with a boss amp...

wont sound nearly as good but will get louder for a lot less money and can handle a ton of power and still sound clear, you might want an active capable setup for it though.
