whats going on with my amp

ok so i was wiring a new sub to my mcd1000 and then poof it starts smoking from inside near the ground port. the grounds are not burnt out. i opened it up and only a lil part is burnt up

its something along the side near the meg port thats a lil burnt nothing else looks burnt but that

its powering up but going into protect mode

anyone know whats up and how much to maybe get fixed

you blew the power supply. fix price depends on who you go to. A quality place will charge more than 100, probably 150

but its still gettin power and lighting up jsut going into protect mode

power supply is still blown. that means your amp can't reproduce current into musical power

I think he dropped it into too low of an ohm load.....
