Whats going on its loud but dont sound loud!

I have a BXI 1610D amp, OLM1612 sub, wired up at 1ohm. In a 2cf box ported at 32hz.

The thing is inside the car its loud. Everything is jumping everywhere. Stand outside the window you can feel your clothes shaking. But go 15 feet away and you can bearly hear the bass.

any clues? I'm thinking box!

cut holes in body and floor pans. remove all glass. that should do the trick

what do you mean by loud? what is in the car? what does it meter. Your idea of loud may in fact not be loud.

Loud in car as in i had a can half full of soda and the can was jumping. This is is in an el camino.

What i'm thinking is that my box mybe making my system hit low hz. I guess i can try setting my sub sonic up higher from 15hz to around 30hz.

missed that part. well then.... it would appear that you really arent as loud as you think. loud is when your setting alarms off around the block from your house!
