I want to make good system, i stuck up with one problem what batt would be better 1 Xstatic batcap 8400 or 4 Kinetik 2400's ???

Kinetik banks can usually be wired to 12v AND 16v.

downside, a bank is big and 300lbs.

it would need to be a modded bank for 16v (can find them used and/or would have to contact kinetik about making them as they have been replaced with the 16v battery). in 16v configuration i would take a bank all day. according to some usaci guys who have used both the kinetik 16v banks were over a db louder, some claimed 1.5db at usaci world finals in 2005 (depends on your system set up) but in a daily driver set up i would look into reliability and its ability to be used day in and out. if it is for competition in db drags i think the only classes the multi cell batteries are legal in street max (12-14v batcap 8400), SS and Extreme but 4 batteries would put you up in SS or Extreme anyway. only vehicles i have seen use the 8400 get trailered show to show in previous years street classes. i have heard though that 8400's need to be constantly maintained/charged when not in use however...might check with a competitor who has used them for verification
