do u already have the jl and you arent impressed? if so maybe try a diff enclosure? or...

are you just planning to get the JL and hifonics and just making sure that you wont regret it? in this case i dont think you will regret it since i have heard nothing but good things (quality wise) about this sub. (although i have actually never heard it in person.)

No I already have it, I was planning on selling it for some rims, and then saving up for a system... that would still be good but not as expensive as the JL. I love the 12W7!

keep ur sub, ur not gonna see much of a difference in any of the subs recommended..

x2 w7 is a solid sub and you probably could have got something comparable for cheaper but you already bought it. I doubt if you spend the extra money you will get that much of a noticable difference from what youre running now. Maybe play around with some diff enclosures if youre not getting what you want out of it.

wow so the W7 is pretty much the Ultimate sub...

well thats very subjective. For SQ its tough to beat but it can be destroyed in SPL by something like a DD or certain Kickers. The thing is the JL has a nice balance of SPL to SQ they are just overpriced
