because after spending $900 on a 9918, and another $1200 on a 4-6kw amp, $300 in wiring, and another $500 in batteries he'd probably like to at least actually listen to his expensive setup on some regular music vs. doing farts for a meter.

what normal every day people with a couple of subs think as "compeition setup" is nothing to what the reality of what they actually are. They think we run around down the streets all day while doing errands doing 155+ listening to jeezy as a normal thing. The reality is that no one does that shit, and if they do - their equipment wont last long, much less their hearing.

But you don't know that. I'm simply throwing out that option if he's looking for a spl/competiton setup...if he actually stated some kind of goal/preference, I'd suggest differently...or maybe the same, depending on what he wants.
