What are you looking for? Sounds like you want it loud, but do you want to maintain Sound Quality? Price range?

I say a 2000x and 2 Crystal CMPX2 12"s

Nah...I have a slight budget, but not much... I'm not looking to spend over 800, since I know a few tricks to increase sound... ( Noshoewearinmofo from Dallasracing.com has a bad-*** system...and isn't that expensive )

I'm looking at maybe something from Kenwood or better... ( I've heard Xplodë sucks, so no on that...even though I'm a sony loyalist ) If anyone has any ideas, lemme know...

(Exhaust sounds around 115db outside... 86db inside)

i can't remember seeing the trunk of a 280zx. approx. how much space do you have??

have you thought about deadening your car??? will do away w/ alot of the exaust noise

Yeah if I were you I would definetly be doing that...btw, do you have an aftermarket exhaust and if so how big in diameter is the tip? Cat back etc?
