So Ive had my system for a while, and it doesnt really seem that loud to me anymore. What are some upgrades I can do to get it louder? Maybe like recone the sub or add another amp or something? Im not looking to spend a lot of money.

lol but seriosly. Im just looking for a little upgrade to get my bass louder. Also, my car has a lot of rattle, would buying some sort of dynamat product make it louder? Or maybe just upgrade my deck?

Yea i would go with sound deadening your car, may not get louder but will sound better. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For real....

Pull your subs for a week or 2

When you put them back in you will be happy again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

What is a good sound deading product? Id like to install it my self. (I didnt install and part of my system myself) Which is a decent priced one that I can do my self which isnt hard for my SUV?

clip it like there's no tomorrow. and then recone if it blows.
What would you recomend that would be much louder with the same RMS? My sub is a DD9500d motor with RE SX softparts with ~1400 wats towards it.

yea im not looking to add another sub. I guess ill just do this for right now.

Im gonna buy a better deck with higher preouts and get some sort of dynamat product and see if my system sounds better. Also, what could i retune my box to to make it louder?

Have you experimented by switching the phase of the sub, meaning switching the connections ?

I would reccomend rammat for sound deadening. This stuff is quality & doesn't get hard over time & reasonably priced. You would definitely get more bass in the vehicle with a deadened trunk.

But seriously, experiment with the phase.
