whats a good double din?

ps. I didn't use the trim piece that came with it. I used a Metra kit for the install and didn't need that trim piece.

pps. I have since relocated my GPS to just above where it is in these pics so that it doesn't block my view of the W200 at all.

however double dins are also more expensive, and if you get the screens, 2 or 3 times as expensive.

its all to do with the budget.

as far as the UI goes for the screens, i have not been impressed ONCE with the user interface from any screen unit ive worked with.

until they stop looking like applications out of windows 3.1 i refuse to buy them.

There not really that much more expensive, if any...

Look at the D2- although it doesn't do DVD, it's $500 cheaper then the N3. The Eclipse 5495 is cheaper then the AVN7000 IIRC, and have just about the same features.

The Alpine W200 can be had for less then $1000, probably a little less then the D310...
