Whats a good car for car audio but isn't 18 yrs old?

if your looking for a hatch, mk2 or mk3 Golfs are great cars, the mk2s look way newer than they are, and surprisingly parts are relatively cheap. plus, its fun beating the majority of hondafag ricers with a stock car.

That VW looks sick. How much does a good running one of those cost? Id love to do 2 10's or maybe even 12's and my 20.1's in it.

Also, what years should i look at, i dont mind buying a 96 as long as i can find one that runs good.

i'd avoid Blazers and S10's just cuz they are total POS - a horrible investment and waste of money.

the small vehicles mentioned would be great on gas - the mk2 or mk3 or the tC (except the tC has too much glass). Why not a first gen Scion xB??? Small engine but large interior volume. Plus the flat dash can offer a great SQ sound stage.

That's my vote - a first gen Scion xB.

Those seem to cost more than what i can afford. Are cougars pretty loud? I could look into those. And i really like the mk2 and mk3's but i dotn see many for sale?!?!?

thats only a mk2, so it can be between 85-92, but that one has the 88(?)+ big bumpers. Honestly? you can find excellent runners for great prices if you look around. I can easily put 5 cubes behind the rear seat of my MK1 rabbit and still be 4" below the parcel tray. they Mk2s and 3s have more room. Im in the process of putting a 15" FI Q with 4 cubes at 30hz in the back of my Rabbit GTi.

Superbeetles are lol
