What you guys use for box building?

Hello,

well now I'm making some boxes. And as always I use screws and wood glue.

But later when I want to rebuild it, I need to to unpick that box, but it's very hard to do this because I used wood glue //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So what you guys use for building boxes? That later you could easily rebuild it.

What you think about silicone? It would be as good as wood glue or not?

silicone is for sealiing things....not for bonding....wood glue+screws would be best...though some people suggest using Gorrilla Glue.

and why rebuild? If you do it right the first time, theres no rebuilding necessary

I just use silicon...and the occasional liquid nail for between areas of contact...

just dont use clear... it is my understanding clear silicon will eat at the sub due to chemicals in it vs white/black/grey...

buy a new sheet of MDF...

I just build a whole new box. MDF is relatively cheap. I don't use screws anymore, just wood glue. Gorilla Glue **** for box building because it expands as it cures and can shift, warp or crack box panels in the process.
