What would you reccomend for my electrical system?

I would say at that age, take the $$ that you'd put into one of those Batcap400'sand better put into into a YT, Marine battery, or other AF battery of choice. Deep cell if you dont want to ever worry about hgaving suystem on when car off, or accidentally leave a light on and you can still crank the car up in the morning.

As for the wiring, considering you are running two amps that demand a 4ga for themselves, you should be running 1/0 ga for power wire- so 1/0 ga for battery to ground, chassis to ground, and alt lead to battery.

I am going to be running 1/0 to a d-blok then 4 to the amps i just wasnt sure whether to use 1/0 or 4 for the Big 3. I guess ill do 1/0 then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Ok I went to Optima's site and it says no matches available. So what are some other battery brands I could go with that would be comprable to a YT?

check measurements/space under the hood in the battery are to see if a standard D34 will fit. If not check Kinetik, Stinger, Odyssey...etc...for your application. Might want to inquire over at ECA, alot of off brands one is not familar with that perform great.

For some reason i cant post on ECA. I can log in and email people from the links at the bottom of thier post, but i cant post myself. It also wont let me search it tells me to login. Ok the Kinetiks are to tall to fit in my car, but I did find out what size YT fits so I am going to go with that.
