right now im using the eclipse set in my sig (switched it up from my kicker ss65.2) its 6.5". what do i need to make it a 3way set? a 4 inch midrange, or midbass? and would i need to upgrade to a different crossover to accomodate the extra driver? thx.

I would go with a different midbass and you can either get a crossover that you can use for all three or you can use the passives for your eclipses and get a seperate crossover for you mids, which is the route I'm taking with my Germaniums.

FIrst off what you need to do is add a midrange to turn it into a 3-way set, along with some type of processing or a crossover to change the xover point of the midbass and tweet and accommodate the midrange.

Not meaning to be a dick but just going by your question i dont think your ready to run a 3 way set, they are not easy to do correctly esp adding another driver to an existing set. You could end up wishing you had never done it if you dont do it right
