what would i have to do to my electrical to be ready for a memphis 4k

When you do the big 3 you will run a piece of 1/0 from the alt to the battery,some people chose to fuse this I do not.That will be the charging wire for the front battery.Now in addition to the 1/0 for the big 3 you also connect 2 more pieces of 1/0 and run those to a fused ANL disturibution block/blocks,which ever you can get.Then from those you run 2 runs of 1/0 to the back batteries and connect them.Ground to the frame in the back like I said earlier.

When making connections to the amp again some peolpe chose to fuse and some don't.I would do it just incase.

I had 2 Dekas under the hood with an EA 300 amp alt running a XX Cyclops and 2 TXA series amps.

I was getting down to about 11 volts in the parking lot. I think a 250 alt would do a little better at idle.

I would say I was cutting it close but for daily it wasn't TOO bad. A more designated power cell at the amp probably would have done me good to prevent that drop.

Big three in 1/0 or better. With the upgrade ground your battery to the frame. At the back ground to the frame. This is working very well this way.

well i wont b runing a memphis amp know.i just bought a basically brand new rd3250 with waranty for 650.im still going to do upgrades.just want to put off on the alt cus im geting read of this car in the next 6months,and i know if i buy a alt i wont be able to sale it used.so i would reather wait for the alt til i get my mustang in 6months.
