what would have to be done to have my sytem installed w/stock hu

im wanting to get my system installed becuase iv been peiceing it together for 6 weeks and have everything except hu..but will be getin that in a week..so is thier anything extra special thats needed to be done to use the stock hu..again this is temporary and my first system, thanks

Line Output Converter. It takes speaker-level outputs and converts it to low-level output for the amp. Mount the LOC behind the HU, and run RCA wires from there to the amp. Then when you get a new HU, just chuck the LOC and plug into the RCA's that you've already run.

If you want to save some money, and don't mind re-running wire, many amps have a built-in LOC. Just run the speaker wire from the HU to the amp, and wire it into the speaker-level inputs (if your amp has it). Of course, when you get the new HU, you'll want to run RCA wire and use that instead.
