What would be yalls setup if yall had 3k to spend on audio?

Some of this extremely basic information can be found by searching google. This forum has a search function as well.
Just wait until someone mentions impedance loads and wiring multiple speakers to a single channel of amplification. You're head is likely to pop...
it may take you up to a year to grasp a lot of this stuff. but once you get the basics the rest comes pretty easy.

It's alright bro. It's complex but you just have to take it a step at a time. The people on the forum are straight-foward but they help.

Here's my idea..couldn't get the links to work.

Subwoofers;

2 x 2 RE SXX SUBS 1000RMS ($400 ebay)

2 x 2 ALPINE TYPE X 1000RMS ($450 ebay)

Subwoofer Amp;

1 x ALPINE 2000RMS x1 AMP ($350 ebay)

Speaker Amp;

1 x ALPINE 50RMS x4 AMP ($100 ebay)

Speakers;

2 x ALPINE TYPE R 6.5" COMPONENT SET ($225 ebay)

Wiring Kit - $200

Custom Box - $200

$1475

Recommendation for components? Maybe mb quart?

The subwoofers are bound to sound Beastly if wired right.

ROFL... You can get loud.. this was my first system I acutally invested money in.. as my first was some **** I got from a neibor and my brother's hand me down he conned me out of my home Aiwa stereo..

Ford F100 Standard Cab.

JBL Decade 35Rms running in the doors.. 5.25

Diesel Audio 6x9's

custom 6x9 boxes built at home (They were the ****.. I had them ported and everything with extra long speaker wire.. so i could set them on my tool box and point them what ever direction i wanted..)

Rockwood 500w amp (250rms) 2 ch.

JBL Loud + Clear 150w Rms (Buy one Get One Sale)

Standard Truck box I bought from JC Whitney

Opel 600 W Amp.. (Anyone remember Opal... I remember that amp also came badged as Houston Acoustics & Boston Acoustics)

Anyways.. the moral here is this system.. yet very cheep,.. was hella loud in my pickup.. now I did not sound like a pair of 15's or 18's SPL style going down the road.. but what i did have was Loud.. Accurate.. hard hitting bass.. a little lacking on the very low end.. but sounded very crisp and very clear..

Same for the cheapo decades and off brand 6x9's.. I remember going houses down and could still hear it very clear.. You can do it.. and can do it cheaply..

But you got to start somewhere.. start with the Head Unit and then get you some decent door speakers.

They dont have to be top of the line super uber expensive.. yet dont buy the cheap *** crap from walmart neither.. buy one thing at a time as you have the money..

Headroom is NEVER a bad thing.
I agree. I would recommend you start of with 0 gauge wire. This way you won't have to upgrade your wire for a while. After a couple months of finishing your set-up, your gonna think its not as loud as you want it to be and will want to upgrade.

Alright i guess this is getting pretty long. And no i just want the bass and subs to be normal butt bad ***. I dont want it to where like when the subs come on they go louder than the actual music. I just want like normal music but really loud and just bass. But imma go look. THANKS AGAIN. im sure yall will see me with more noob questions later on down the road..
