What would be yalls setup if yall had 3k to spend on audio?

Are you really dead set on spending that much?

You could do very good imo with just a grand. Especially if you buy a few things used off the classifieds here.

I'm buying everything new. And i was just gunna go with 1k. But im obsessed with music and i wan't my truck to be the loudest and one of coolest in school. It will only take about 6 months of part time job and i have 8 months until i get my liscense. So yea plus ill have birthday money and just random money ill collect.

if you're buying everything newi hope your going with companies like sundow fi dc etc etc....dont go to best buy and pay top dollar for mediocre equipment...its a waste man.

If I were you. I would start out by buying everything one piece at a time. That way you wont get overwhelmed researching equipment. It was about 6-9 months by by the time I actually bought my first subwoofer when I first started buying stuff.

I would either get Some 15" GTI MKII's and that 2400wRMS amp from JBL.. a new set of Comp's GTi class the $1K ones.. hmm.. maybee the Alpine deck with HD built in.. and replace my JVC HD HU, and JBL sound processor seen one used for $500... its the car audio version of what they use for PRO- hmm.. that leaves me with about 1.3 K to blow i think... custom box, racks, and wires, 2 alts.. think that would blow every bit of that 3 K right there..

if your looking to get loud 3k could go pretty easy once you count in a ho alt, batteries, wire, then the amp and subs. Do you have any brands that your looking into? What kind of power are you looking to run? Single sub or multiple? What size? Since you dont have much room in comparison to a trunk or suv, you are limited as to what you can put in there and how much power to run.

you have so much to learn. Study up here for a couple months and you'll figure it out. I wouldn't spend it all at once because you're blow shit through trial and error and then your 3k will be gone in no time.
