what will work best for me?

k...heres my setup...anyone have suggestions as to what i could improve on...let me know..cuz i want to do this right the first time...im 16, and i dont really want to spend extra money on bad decisions/mistakes...

im going to be installing this into a toyota 4runner

Pioneer DEH-P740MP(premier series reciever)

Infinity Kappa 60.3cs component system(6 1/2 inch)

sony xplod 5 1/4 speakers in the rear

rockford fosgate 1 farad cap

rockford fosgate punch 800.2 amp (maybe power 800.2-i havent decided yet)

subs-

either 2 infinity kappa perfect 12's

or

1 perfect 12 and one 12 rockford punch hx2

i want good sq, but also want some resonable spl..

if i go with the 2 perfects, ill have the sq covered, but im not sure on the spl...although at a local dealer, a guy hit 140db wit 2 perfects, and he was running 200rms to each...

if the perfects wont give me the full spl, ill go with the one and add a rockford instead.

im not sure though..so any suggestions are welcomed

hey...i forgot to add that im gonna be using sealed boxes for teh perfects, and if i get the rockfords, ill put em in a ported box...

o...and what guage power and speaker wire should i use i was thinking 4 ga. power, but i want max output and efficiency...so i was thinking of 0/1ga....and idk about spkr. wire...so suggestions plz..

yeah.. i think the bottle neck in ur seystem is the sony 5 1/4's... I would go with infinity perfect 6.1's (or 5.1's) for the front in kicks, and take the 60.3cs and put them in the back. I have the 5.1's and they are amazing. Got them for 265 off ebay. and yes... Mixing subs is a really bad idea... Perdonally i would go with 2 10.1's in a sealed box. again u can get 10.1's for 139 a piece on ebay.. Check out ike's electronics.. thats the guy i bought them from ebay.. they have by far the best price i have seen on the net... All their stuff is brand new.. The only problem i have with them is their shipping.. takes about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks to ship.. but in the end they are great..

Check out "the zeb" for the q-logic kicks.. they cost around 160... i just checked and they make kicks for toyotas 4 runners i think it was 88-2001...

also.. do u plan on pushiing ur speakers with anything? in my opion u should... I would recomend 50rms for the 60.3cs and 100w for the perfect 5.1 or 6.1.

thanks a lot u guys...

yeah..ill prob get some other componets instead of the sony's...but i dont know about the perfect 5.1s...theyre kinda pricey, an im only 16, and i wanna keep the cost pretty low...but ill prob be going with either another kappa 60.3cs or the 5 1/4 component speakers..

yeah...i was thinking of putting the perfects in two separate boxes, each 1-1.25cu ft.

...and ill be getting an amp for the components-prob run 60-75w rms to them..

does anyone have an idea of how loud this setup will be? could i hit at least 140db?

You wont need the 0/1 gauge wire either, 4 gauge will do the trick just fine. the price jump from 4G to 0G is quite big.
