What will I need?

Ok, I have purchased nearly all of what i'm going to get for big stuff, but I don't know what i'll need for.... accessories.

I will be running 2 Type R's with an AP1500, and i'll be adding a 4 chan shortly after.

What are some of the things i'll need that are quite important.

Also, if i'm running my AP1500, should I run 0 gauge or should I just do 4? I don't even have a battery terminal yet, so those are the type of things i'm referring to when I ask.

ive got the ap1500 and the terminals are impossible to fit 1/0 in bc they're too small, plus the angle...what i did was run 4g ground from the rear...then for my power, 1/0 all the way back to the fuse rite next to the amp, and from the fuse, ive got 4g so its a really short run of 4g

Take 0 gauge and run it to the back from main battery. Hook it to a small battery, such as kinetik hc800, then run 4 gauge from the battery and to your amplifier.

Just out of curiosity, since nobody has ever explained it to me, what is the use of having a batt right in your trunk? And how does the charging system work with your alt.

Also, I want to purchase a new batt upfront too. Should I measure my previous batt and go from there?

Thank you. Also, where can I get a better alt for my 95 Geo Prizm?

If i'm doing the big 3, how much 0 gauge wire would you suggest I purchase, and from where?

EDIT: Also, do I just need to purchase a positive batt terminal? Don't quite know why there are positive AND negative ones.

the terminals are different size...not by much, but they are different

A battery in the trunk will keep voltage up, and give more reserve power for your amp. You will NOT get 1500 watts out of stock electrical. So put a battery in the back, do the big 3, and eventually upgrade your alt.

All you do is take 0 gauge from positive front battery, and connect it to positive back battery. Thats how it keeps it charged.

A small back battery works essentially as a buffer and a small reserve.

How exactly would I hook up BOTH of my amps? Would I put a terminal on the back batt for 2 power cords?
