What way to wire this?

sub specs:

SVC 4ohm, (continuous) power handling: 175W

(rms) amp specs:

460W x 1 @ 4 ohms, bridged

230W x 2 @ 2 ohms

150W x 2 @ 4 ohms

Well, the only impedance you'll be able to wire the sub to is 4ohm since it only has one voice coil.

since you have 2 of these subs, only practical way I can think of is just doing one sub per channel the normal way (+ to +, - to -). Did you look at the specs before you purchased this stuff?

you could hook it up parallel PER CHANNEL, but then each sub would only get 115W, and also you'd have an unused channel.

if you're talking about bridging parallel, I would say try to find out if the amp is 2ohm stable bridged, which I doubt. even if it is, you still have watch your gains by a great deal.....

say i do bridge it parallel. what is the worst that will happen? i ahve free replacment for 4 years. but if it happens every week its not worth it. i just want them to sound good with nice power. Thanks
