Worst mistake of my life: going to best buy for car audio. I could have bought a hella nice system for what I paid there...

alpine 2 ways in doors

infinity 3.5s in dash (only got really because the speakers were free)

2 mtx subs (w/ premade mtx enclosure, they actually sounded good I thought for a 300w system)

kicker 150.2 for the dash speakers

kicker 650.4 for the other interior speakers

insignia amp to power the subs

2-8" crunch subs, the ones with the floursent colors in the dust cap in a badpass box.

raido shack 180 watt 20ch amp

sony casette deck with a 10 disc cd changer

5-1/4" boston acoustic in the front and jbl 6.5's in the back.

that was when i was 18, am 33 now and that raido shack amp is still working. i gave that amp to a friend and he is still using it.

id get the metra adapter and get a nice 5 1/4 comp set

and yeah they are one inch tweeters

it'll allow for conversion of the 4x6 opening, so i can put 5 1/4 speakers in it? any specific kind of speakers that are good? looking for something mless than like 125-150, aint got much

as far as i know those old RS/optima amps were built by pioneer
