you can have $25k in cash before you have any issues going through an airport.i had $15k and my boy had $10k. he got stopped going through security at an airport but they had to let him go.

if ANYONE took any of MY money for ANY reason , there will be hell to pay.

ive been told by numerous people that $25k is whats allowed through without any serious questioning. though , most of these people were older , so things may have changed in the past 15 years.

either way , my boy had between $8 and 12k and was able to board the plane. i was next in line , but i didnt get pulled aside. so whatever bullshit airport you travel through , remind me never to go there.

Ive carried substantial amounts of money on a plane as well and never got sweated either. But I wasnt retarded.

The point is there is no law or regulation, it is at the discretion of the airport. And international flights have their own set of rules on top of that.

I sold my Jeep about 2 years ago and the lady paid cash which was 8k.....

When I got home my friends and I felt it was a must to take Gangsta photos whith that cash and my Ghetto LLama .45 lol..

our reason was we were buying a car out of state and paying with cash. if both of us got pinched , that story wouldnt hold.

anyways , they cant just pull someone aside who has a pocket full of cash and confiscate it. maybe if it was double rubber banded or in random bills. but a stack of $100's or even $20's isnt enough to get that money taken. do you know how much legal bullshit TSA or whatever security would go through if that was the case?

Do you not realize you have very few if any freedoms in an airport? The TSA is an extension of the NSA. That means they can do whatever the fuck they want.

i understand. but they cannot take just anyones money because 'its too much'. there has to be more to it than that. i can see problems with bringing more than $10k through an airport but not $4k.

i dont know. maybe the guy running the security thing was an *******. as long as you have a legitimate story and dont have mixed bills strapped to your leg , i dont think you will have any problems.

my boy had his stack in his pack pocket. they asked what we was going with that much money. he said he was buying a car in chicago from a friend of the family. no issues.

There reasoning was that it was 'drug money' The dogs sniffed 'drugs' on the bills so that means they got it illegally and they took it. Separate occasions, different airports, different circumstances.

I am sure I dont need to draw a road map from there. The funny part was the money actually was legit, had pay stubs and everything to prove it. It however would have cost them more to get it back so they both said screw it.

Again, not saying it will always happen or dont do it. But shit can happen if you do.
