39 wide max. 17 tall max. And I think 26 deep. Civics trunks be tiny, that's why I had to build the box from the inside out.

Heres what ya do........keep emptying packing peanuts into the trunk......than pour resin over it all, than take it out and measure it....easy peasy

do you have a Sedan? My2005 ex coupe is 37" Deep, 41" Wide in the back, 53" wide in the front.

depends, my 2k2 civic's trunk lid bars are 38" apart so that's usable width. 17" tall, but I could only get boxes 16" tall inside. depth is like 36", but only 30" of usable depth and if you max out the height and width you can only fit 22" box in the trunk, and that's with taking out the trunk floor.

the newer civics have much more usable space since the trunk lid bars don't get in the way

40" wide, 17" tall, and about 29

USEABLE is

38Wx17Hx28L this allows clearance for any rods, the trunk lid, and panels.
