what type of system to put in an 00 grand prix

i have a 2000 grand prix and it just has everything that it came with. I really want to put a killer system in it but i have no idea. can someone tell me everything i should get to get a killer system and i'll get what i can afford from time to time. just tell me what i should get to start.. like the basic stuf.. thanks benp639@yahoo.com is my emial

i would start with upgrading your factory speakers then buy a deck. then add on a sub and amp... your factory stereo will sound crisper if you replace factory speakers but you have more of a chance of blowing the factory speakers if you upgrade the deck first.

but yeah tha'ts just what i'd do

just upgrade the deck and the speakers at the same time. thats what i did. Its bad to just install the speakers first, your stock player usually can't power the speakers well enough and it will cause distortion if the volume is turned up high!!!!!

well the stoock speakers will distort anyways..... by all means if you can afford it buy deck and speakers at the same time but.... i'm just saying in my opinion i'd start off with the speakers first and then next pay check get your deck.... rather than buy your deck first and have to listen to stock speakers on the brink of blowing up. if you buy one or the other first your going to end up with distortion either way. i just think it's better to have good speakers running first //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
