What type of electrical for (2) strapped SAZ-1500's?

you were running that hk4000d on that electrical? i think that would pull more current than 2 strapped sundowns, but then again mine is daily driver ...

I run the HK4000D at 2 ohms on the stock alt and I throw in the EA 200 amp alt when I drop that amp to .7 ohms. I'm only burping with that amp, so it's not really killing my set up yet.

crap, i REALLY dont want to replace the alternator, all my old cars (big body buicks) were so easy to replace the alternator, they were right on top, this tiny focus has its alternator nearly underneath the engine... im gonna go ahead and see if 2 decent size batteries added to the hc600 i have now will work ...

wow that is a tiny space. You might want to find a NSB 100ft. they are tall and skinny and would fit perfect in that space.

he can run two 1500 watt amps with only a 110 amp alternator??Can i run 1500 with a 70 amp alternator?

Just get the two batterys one up front and a bigger one in the back and do the big 3. I always believed most of the time a new alternator is just over kill. Give it a shot and see what your

volatage is. There is always a way around a new alternator.
