Get the Blu Ray if you want the best picture.

Actually get HD-DVD if you want the best picture quality. Almost every side by side comparison, HD-DVD has better quality over BluRay.

depending on your "monster LCD tv" if it doesn't do 1080p it won't matter what dvd player you buy, your picture will only be as good as the pic on your lcd will allow, is it 480, 720, or 1080?

That is my tv... I had a 73" purchased at ABC but this one was a grand cheaper and it has a 1080p input. I move in Friday, so that's when it is being delievered.

So which dvd player will go good with that. I don't want to spend the $$ on blu-ray..Just gonna wait for PS2 for that.

man i bought my dvd player 5 years ago for $70 from bestbuy and it still kicks *** i love it..by the way you'll love the big screen i got a great deal on a toshiba 72'' from circuit city for only $5500 took me a few hours but talked the guy down from $6500 even threw in a free stand.

****, that's alot of loot!! LOL I got it for 2,950. I can't WAIT to hook it up on Friday and play some Madden with my roomies!!!

you'll notic when you get the tv you will play all your games over and watch all your dvd's over cause its like doing it for the first time on a tv that big..lol
