What type of amp do I need?

Ok I have 2 12in kicker cvr in a box and there is only one place where you can put wires so that means I need just a Mono amp not a multi-channel or stereo right? Also this may be even a dumber question but say I get a amp that is 300 watts rms well does each subwoofer get 300 watts or does it get just 150 watt to each?

Thanks in advance sorry if these are obvious question I am just putting together my first system so I am trying to do it right the first time so I don't have to upgrade much later.
