What tuning for a 15" type r

Ok who wants to design me a box I got money on paypal for the best design,

15-20? Shouldn't take that long to design a box with all the t/s specs and my car info

I just can't do it from a iPhone that's acting up.....

Sub comes in 7 days do the box has to be built before it arrives !

I'll say it again, because I have done nothing wrong yet my posts have been removed for some reason:
The sound quality of Type R is mediocre.

SSA and Fi do not make subwoofers that sound all that much better.

For a sound quality installation, you'll want something that is underhung, XBL^2, LMS, or made by Acoustic Elegance. A-E is Klippel proven. Their stuff is almost like magic in that it doesn't have any of those topologies yet it has good Xmax and good sensitivity.

The OP is asking about a tuning freq for his type r. he did not ask for opinions on the SQ potential of his equipment. You are post dumping, which is not allowed in the tech sections. You also told someone to 'shut up', which is member harassment, which is not allowed in the tech sections. You are now ignoring the warning you've been given, and repost more thread dumping. How many warnings will you ignore? This is #2.

No, it's not post dumping. The guy specified a goal and mentioned equipment that is not meant to reach that goal, so I attempted to help correct him. As for the "shut up" stuff, ask anyone else on this forum if they mind that guy being told that. Besides, I think we're all old enough to be able to handle minor language like that. What is this, kindergarten? Should I stand out in the hallway?

And ignoring warnings? After you just feel like deleting all my posts? You're the one who should be getting warnings here for abuse of mod power.

I'm tired of people jumping in and suggesting all sorts of generic subwoofers when people ask about SQ. Alpine only makes generic subwoofers. Fi only makes generic subwoofers. SSA only makes generic subwoofers. Where's the technology in their motors? Nowhere to be found.

If you want to keep discussing the SQ potential of a type r, go find a thread on that topic. If you continue to debate me about this here, in this thread, or continue to critique the OP's speaker with unwanted criticism, you'll find I dont give 3 warnings.

ram can design u a nice one if u want bracing and what not, but there are too many free designs out there imo to pay for it. Granted, once u go so big, u might need bracing, which free designs dont have. i think ram charges around what u listed, its nothing crazy, and he knows what he is doing.

It sounds to me like the guy just wants an easy solution, so I think he can just go to RAM for that. It's not like he's gonna get ripped off. The prices are good.
