what to set HPF on subwoofer amp it has hpf and lpf...

Most amp have a switch to put the amp on hpf or lpf.. but my amp has am adjustable knob for each I kno lpf should be @ 80hz what should the hpf be set too.

Also if any1 could help me with tuning the crossovers in my HU would be helpful also...

Any1 familair with the 9887 is it bad to turn the subwoofer level up?

Do you also have a subsonic filter? The HPF would be essentially used as a subsonic filter, so you'd usually set it to half the frequency of your box's tuning frequency i.e. 20hz if your box is tuned to 40z, 15 if 30, etc.

It's ok to put the Sub setting at 15/15. Just make sure you set it before you set the gain.
