What subwoofer slope do you use? -6db? -12db? -18db?

This is how steeply the frequencies are cut-off from your subwoofer.

The high the number, the steeper (quicker) the frequencies are cut.

It also helps in blending speakers in with eachother.

What subwoofer and what type of box?

Generally, sealed boxes play higher than ported. So, sealed boxes you can use a higher frequency and a more shallow slope. With ported, you may want to use a lower frequency and a steeper slope.

It also depends on your mid/midbass... if it can extend low enough to match up with your chosen subwoofer point.

I'd recommend 12 or 18dB as the other is too shallow.
