Like the title states, my buddy has an '08 Tahoe LTZ that he had our local shop (which is not very good) install two JL w1v2 15" subs in like what looks to be about a 5 or 6 cubic foot ported box off of a 400 watt amp, he paid 770$ for everything I think. I'm not kidding it was unbelievably loud, roof flexed like crazy and top of dash looked like it was gonna explode... expensive equipment plus shitty install FTW haha..

Lot's of cone area, efficient subs, efficient box... it's going to get loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I wouldn't call it a shitty install if it's getting that loud.

People get too hung up on wattage these days

w1v2, I have seen a trunk with 4 13.5's

running of a JL 1000/1

Sounded pretty nice for a entery line sub.

lots of cone area, it did completly engulf the speakers, as they were powered by the deck ;O
