What subs to get for my corvette?

First time poster here....

Ok, I currently have a 1997 corvette with 3 10's subs in it. I have a Soundstream 1500 Watt RMS amp at 1Ohm. I have 2 polk MM1040's and 1 Xtant x1044. The subs are loud but I want louder, also my system is not hitting the lows like I think it should be so I am considering changing speakers to 2 12's.

My question is, what 2 twelves would you get if you were on a 500 dollar budget. I am looking for SPL as my main focus, I still would like it to sound good as well but I guess if I had to lean one way I would rather have loud than great SQ. I was considering 2 Kicker L7's in the kicker box, it would fit in my car. I am not sure how much louder it would be than my current setup.

Also what speakers period would you get if you were me with a 500-600 dollar budget. I think my space is limited to around 4 cubic feet which could be the deciding factor.

Thank you for the reply. Is there a way to see a price sheet on those without calling them? I am having a hard time finding prices on DC's. Their website reminds me of DD's, very hard to find prices on them.

Anybody else have an opinion on a set a good 12's with 1500 watts RMS of power?

I completely agree.....it's your average shake and bake china sub. I'm sure all the fanboys will hate me for saying this but no sub company has done anything lately that's different from one another enough to make a difference.

to the OP, I also own a C4 and have had alot of setups in it. I would suggest you buy one 12" dual voice coil sub and have a slightly oversized enclosure for it tuned around 35 hz. I alsso suggest you put a shit ton of power behind it, no less than 3kw and beef up your electrical with at least 1/0 cable to your battery up front and put another battery in the spare tire well.

Subs id suggest are

FI BTL12"

Mach 5 Audio Spl 12

Alpine R 12"

Atomic apx or apxx

Audioque HDC 12

great subs but need a lot more place and love ported like 2.5 each ported
