which subs will go the lowest in a sealed box? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

need one sub. it needs to be a 4 ohm final load, high efficiency is also good but i know you can have crazy lows and crazy efficiency both at the same time.

the treo's and the rlp's cost to much. and i had an ssi before and didn't like it. but never tried it sealed, only ported.

the ixl might be an option.

what didn't you like about the ssi?
she sounded really sloppy. it seemed like a one note wonder.

i blame it on the box though, even though i went exactly with treo's recommended spec when i made it. 1.75 net at 32 - 35 for a ten.

it probably would have done ok in a small sealed box. i was going to try it in .85 sealed but decided to just try something else.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
