I was really liking the Aura. I like the ID Max, but I'd like something not a lot of people have.

Any idea how a few RL-i 8s would do IB? That'd be a sight

I really like the RL-s too. I think the decision will be between a pair of the new Mags, the RL-s, or the Aura.

And I'll keep my TC9 as a backup

I would go with AE's IB15 as my first choice for an IB install whether in a car or house.

Qts = Qtc for IB. You can use a driver with a medium to high Qts (~0.4 to 0.8), low Fs and high excursion. Of course, this assumes you have a very large cavity you are placing the driver in. Otherwise, it becomes a large sealed enclosure with leaks.

The IXL-18 was built primarily for this purpose, which is why you don't see too many of them in car installs.

If I do this, it will be a true IB install in an Avalanche. The baffle will replace the midgate.

Insane price...

I like those. Plus, those guys are only about 1.5 hours away from me, so I can ***** at them personally if I ever have an issue. But where the hell is the power rating? not seing it on the site, and the PDF won't come up
