ok i wanna build this console out of fiberglass and have it house a 10, since i'm no expert artist, this picture isn't exactly drawn to scale....i'm not sure what the dimensions would be....but is all the marked off area that i drew for enclosure space usable area? i'd like to be able to have close to 1 cubic foot of space, anyways, what would be the best sub to be able to be pushed by a bridged Kenwood KAC-729 (the 600 watt) amp, in these circumstances....i was lookin towards a 10" Solobaric L5....but i want somethin that will be getting the most out of the wattage...does this make any sense?

took about 45 minutes to draw that up, and i'm no artist.....and i was thinking about venting the enclosure.....just a lil update...still haven't even bought the mdf yet...a BRAHMA :drools:

depending on how big the enclosure is already, chances are you will need more internal volume for a vented enclosure to sound good. i was thinking maybe a JL W6v2 or a RE SE. it all depends on what you are looking for out of your sub. are you more into SQ or SPL?

well really i'm more about jsut having some nice hard hitting bass that you can enjoy...i don't want anything that sounds like its playin all sorta frequencies....i dunno i'm no audio expert...but i just want deep clean bass, and i like the simplicity of a single sub...can't expect much out of a 10, but in a regular cab truck...it can get fill up the space easily...i guess that sorta qualifies me as a spl person...or a mixture of both...

what kinda amp is he runnin?

also what kinda watts should i be actually putting out from a Kenwood KAC-729 (600 watt) amp bridged out runnin 4 gauge wire from the battery to the dash then splitting at the distribution block to 8 gauge to the amp? to a kicker comp vr 12..(what i have now in a 1.6 c/ft box)
