What sub setup to go with??

So I was originally planning on running 2 12" Fi Q's off an Orion 2500d. Now I have read some stuff that is making me wonder if that's actually what I want.

Would it be louder to have 1 15" or 2 12"? Also I want subs that can hit really low, really clean, and sound great. While at the same time I want them to get loud.

Any suggestions?? Only requirement is I want the subs to be 2,000W RMS.

Your logic is so wrong.

Though, if they're the same sub with the cone size being the only difference and you can do the airspace, I would go with 2 of the 12s.

will it be worth the extra $300? as in.. will i actually notice a significant gain in loudness?
