What size woofers do you favor?

Just put an MJ 18 in my trunk sealed off of ~450 watts, and I have to say, I love it.

I just love the sound of a huge *** 18 getting low as **** and sounding wonderful doing it, plus they look awesome...i mean popping open the trunk of a car and bam!

Anyway...just thought I'd see what size woofers you all prefer, remember, assuming you could fit whatever you wanted.

15's. I had an 18 once and i just didnt like it. I never like any of my friends 18's either. I used to be an all out 12 guy but i changed my tune once i heard some MT 15's. Then i went and got some haha.

i like 15's. i've gone through 10's, 12's and i'm stuck on 15's. everything i buy or rebuild turns into a 15. due to space restrictions it limits me on size that i'm allowed in my trunk i can't use 18's so i use the next biggest thing. 15's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I generally prefer the smaller subs and multiply sub setups versus single large subs. However it may be that I have never really had enough room to fit in a big sub nor had any experience with anything bigger than a 12.

All these polls lately... favorite brand, favorite speaker size.... how about a poll that finds out if you are smart enough to realize there is no best brand or ideal speaker diameter. Everything is situational based, these polls are nonsense.

Its purely opinion based, and thats what I'm looking for, other people's opinion. Lol I'm not trying to find out the 'best size subwoofer'...

i tend to lean on the 15's they are less then the 18, but when i could fit the 18's i go for it plus the sound the 15 over the 18 is better

This poll is really based on personal preference, not about anything "ideal". So it's not as retarded as some of the other polls. Even then, those other polls still deal with favorites and not anything scientifically based

I love the tens, have owned many brands of all sizes, but a couple of good 10's is all I ever need.

haha yea when I was upgrading from my old 12's I wanted to do an 18 instead of just going to 15's but I doubted I could fit it very well if even at all. I made it work though, and now I'm gonna be running two MJ 18's in my trunk sealed

I would still like to try some 8's or 10's though in the future

After hearing 10's 12's and 15's, I have to say I liked the 12s the least.

I love my TC7s, but there was also a 7515 I actually liked alot a while back. Sold that off though .
