what size wires in box???

Runnin 3 sa 8s off a Memphis st1500d. Right now my wiring in my box is itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini. I wondering if I need bigger wires in box. Its prob abt 20 gauge or some ish like home theater wires. 8 gauge from amp to box. Should I use bigger wire in box? And if so what size?

use that calculator for speaker and power wire. a small run of 12 gauge wire goes a long way. for example you could get away with 14 gauge wire (336 watts rms each 4 ft run) x 6 (2 wires each speaker) and you get 2016 rms. pleny for that memphis amp. just an FYI because not every speaker can fit 8-12 gauge wire multiple times

thats the truth. my buddies SA-12 has trouble with 2 12g wires. it a ***** gettin them in there right.

1500rms your fine with 16g cause you split for 3 subs.

8g is for over 4k per sub....
