I am looking for an idea of what size subs and how many I can run. I am looking to start with only 4k watts for now, will step up to 10k here once i get another HO alt and more batteries.

Looking at 65x48x20 to get the most airspace

If i cant do 18's because of the height I can do

65x41x22 (might be able to squeeze it to 65x42x22

Want to do either 8 12's, 6 15's 4 15's or 4 18's. Whatever I can fit and get the loudest from. This will be a daily setup and daily driver so want it tuned low 33hz or so.

I will need room in the back for batteries and amp rack. So I will need around 10" for batteries in the back

so will have before any disp

55x48x20=30.55 one layer of mdf=26.63 two layers of mdf=23.02

or

55x41x22=28.70 one layer of mdf=25.10 two layers of mdf=21.73

maybe

55x42x22=29.41 one layer of mdf=25.71 two layers of mdf=22.30

I could squeeze in

57x48x20= one layer=27.63 two layers=23.90

I am not sure what exactly I can fit, so I figure I may or may not need double layers of MDF. Will need it on the baffles for sure.

The 55x48x20 will give me the most room to work with either way not matter if one or two layers.

I am assuming if I had to I could do the 57x48x20.

I am trying to decide how much room after port I will have, looking to do either

6 12's=678.24

8 12's=904.32

6 15's=1059.75

4 15's=706.50

4 18's=1017.36

I figure the 8 12's, 6 15's, 4 15's or 4 18's would give me the best results

Just depends on what kind of box ported with loading chamber or bandpass??

If anyone can help it would be appreciated will have pics of the build log once I get it figured out.

the amount of room they will need, and its impossbile to do 21" subs i dont have the weight or the width

think about it 22 high tops.

and 48" wide thats 42" would need two layers of mdf thats 45 so 3" wide port?

4 18's

if facing up only 36" wide total I have 48 wide total thats 12" wide for port before the wood

but the best way to do is have them facing one another like 2 subs on each side standing on the sides, so 18" tall I have 20 or 22" tall so I would have to do one layer of wood with 20" tall, or with 22" i can do two layers.

I can do 18's but idk if i have the airspace anyway for them?

before any port??

How much for the subs I figure 5 cu ft per sub for 18's right??

so 20cu ft, how much would port area and the chamber and all the rest take up??

4 15's are gonna give me the most room to work with

6 15's will be very tight fit

4 18's I think just wont give me enough airspace at all need at least 20cu ft plus 1cu ft for subs disp so thats 21 cu ft min, if i do one layer thats only 6.5 cubes for port, possibe. Should use two layers of mdf so that would leave 4 cubes for port and idk if thats enough or not

would rather not mess with 8 12's too many subs and more problems

12x 12s.... I can fit 8 in my ext cab colorado. I know you can fit 12 in a blowthru on a f350..or w/e it was. Thats 1356 cone area. ..Get like dc lvl 4s..... 12,000 watts. Get ready to blow some minds.

I only have 65" long before any room for batteries so after that I need around 10" for that so only 55" long Its impossible. unless the subs are facing up and not across from each other like most blowthroughs are.
