what size rims for an explorer?

now got an 04 grand prix
im getting an explorer and want to get some rims for it, so what size would you guys go with? im thinking might as well go with some 22s? what u guys think? i was thinking something like this

ya ive been looking on line and the price from 22 to 24 is pretty big difference, but 20s and 22s not to bad, so night as well go with 22s. im keeping my stock rims for winter.

 
I think there is a guy on this website with 26's on his explorer. At one point i think they were for sale in the classifieds. I might be wrong. go with a 35 or 40 series tire, nothing bigger!

 
victoria tire is about the cheapest place you can get them, or ebay. what year is the explorer? if its before a '03 (i think) you will need a lift to get 24s on it. if its later than that, then you can fit 24s iwith no lift, but you will have 30 series tires which are pretty small. i had a 02 and lifted it 1.5" and was able to fit 24s with 35 series tires w/ no rub.
