ya i saw the couple pics you got in your build log and it does look good. thats what i was worryed about to are the shitty roads with the big rims so have less tire on there. i think 22s would be the best choice. i mean i dont see how these people here drive there chargers on 24s with the rubber band tires.I would not 24s
I own an explorer.. check out my avatar
I got 22s and 40 series tire..
no rubbing and looks perfect IMO.. It could use some lowering a bit but I have opted to not lower it since Michigan's roads are ****ed man and I like to have some ride quality..
also with my 22s and 40 series tires, it matches up the diameter of stock wheels/tires so that way my MPG is not off and whatever.. Seriously, I got .1 or .2 better MPG with 22s lmao (My limited stock rims are heavy mofos so prolly that is why)
24s wont cut it at all and wont look good IMO.. Kind of donky like everyone says here.. I always have thought I should have stepped up to 24s but after some consideration, I realized 22s is all good.. I am loving how my explorer looks really..
Just hit me up if you want some more info.. or pics..
ya take your time im in no hurry, but ya id appreciate it.I can dig up some and PM you.
Yes I understand that a "donk" is an older impala/caprice on big rims, Being "donked out" I use refering to any vehicle that has wheels way bigger than it should.i hate dumbass people that call everything wit big wheels a donk
nah im not going with 24s. i was thinking 20s but then figured if im going to spend money might as well spend alittle more and get 22s.Yes I understand that a "donk" is an older impala/caprice on big rims, Being "donked out" I use refering to any vehicle that has wheels way bigger than it should.
ya with the bad roads around here, i need as much tire i can get on there. just going ot go with 2s and ya, i like the 6-7 spoke design. thats probably what im going to go with.I agree with ugly, get some 2's with a 40 series and possibly lower it a hair. But personally I like a 6-7 spoke design. I had some 22/40 with a 7 spoke on my 2nd gen and it looked amazing. I took off the room rack and put roof slats off of a Tahoe to cover the holes.
Also to clear any confusion you would not have to lift with 4's. You would just have to get a smaller tire.
i will have the stock ones on in the winterStock...
Probably the best reccomendation so far, I dont see the point in dropping a grand on some shiny hunks of metal.Stock...
