What size of box do DC level 4s like?

I just picked up a level 4 yesterday and i was reading on the site today that the 15" is recomended @ 3.5 cuft. I already have a ~4.25 cuft box made and thats what im planning to use. Do you think this is to much space for that sub?

Box is a bit too big. Depends on how much power you plan on running.

It will be run on a Saz-1500rms im not sure how much i will acutally run probably like 1200-1400?

I put mine in 4.5 net cubes tuned at 32Hz on 1400@1. Sounded great and handled every bit of power just fine. Got loud and low as well.

What did you have your box tuned at, mines at around 32 or 33 after displacement. Did you ever get metered?

32Hz after displacement. Never got metered. I dont care about numbers.

Should do fine. Just watch the sub when you power it up to make sure you dont overthrow it.

How did you like your level four then were you happy with it?

I loved it. It was extremely musical. To be honest it sounded every bit as good as my ID8D2V3's and got way louder. Only reason I switched was to gain trunk space back so my wife would quit complaining.

Do you happen to kno anything ab sealing a tunk off? lol im triyng to figure it out but its alot harder than it looks >_
