I am running 1/0 through my whole system and i have a 1/0 ANL fuse/holder... and right now i have a 100 amp fuse in their, but anyways, i am going to be buying the hifonics bx1500d and i am gonna be running it at 2 ohms for a while untill my current subs blow then im upgrading to two L7's and then im gonna be running the amp at 1 ohm, whut size fuse should i be running once i run it at 1 ohm, 125,150,200????

but see thats why i made this thread, becuz i dont know how much the hifonics 1500 pulls at 2 ohms, and at 1 ohms, that is whut im wondering...
Jsut look at the fuse on the amp. How much is it?? That is how much amperage the amp is going to want to pull at peak power. This isn't rocket science. Now get a fuse that is either right underneith that number or one that matches it. Now your set.

Okay, the amp's fuses are there to prtect the amp.

The fuse that you're going to install in the power line is to protect the power wire.

Fuse for the limits of the power wire (guage voltage/thermal limit).

With 1 ott wire you can fuse up to: ~300 amps.

IMO, get a 200amp ANL and be quite safe (happy).
