I'm going to be running a Kenwood X500-1 amp and I was going to be using 4 AWG wire, is the fuse going to blow if I use a 60-amp fuse?

I'm going to be running a Kenwood X500-1 amp and I was going to be using 4 AWG wire, is the fuse going to blow if I use a 60-amp fuse?

The amp is already fused, right? If so, take it out of the equation. When you're fusing the wire near the battery for safety purposes, you fuse for the capacity of the wire. If its ofc 4, use no more than a 150 amp. I would suggest a 100. If its cca 4, use a 80 amp fuse.
