What size fuse?

Hi, i'm am a little new at this kind of stuff, but what I would like to know is what size fuse i should use for my inline fuse. I have a 8awg wiring kit that comes with a 60 amp fuse. I will be wiring it all to a alpine MRP-M450. What size fuse should i run. There are two 20 amp fuses on the amp, should i get a 40 amp instead, or will a 50 work?

Use the 60 amp fuse that came with the kit at the battery (within 18" of the positive post), and with the amp having its own builtin fuses you really dont need an external one at the amp itself.

Ok thanks, and I got another question, before i start everything, which cable do i disconnect again so I don't wreck anything?
