What size and how many XXXs or MTs?

I have a nissan Maxima, and I need some serious bass in there. I have decided on RE after everybody talks how good they are, and then finally I heard some SEs and some SXs and WOW! I need to know what combination of sub(s) you suggest. I dont know what size box either need. Should I got one 15 or 18, 2 10s, 2 12s, 2 15s? What would you suggest for amp power? In a vented box of course!

depends on what you want.

i mean you cant fit2 15's ported in a maxima unless you build a wall

at least the right way.

go with 12's.

and if you want great sq and you have a ton of power, go with the xxx's

Maxima? Current generation? Daily driver?

If so.... 15" XXX w/about 5.5 cubes tuned around 32-35hz & 1.5kw. You'll prolly be happy.

Bass with a remote gain knob and you'll be happy.

80% of it's in the install.

This is a stupid question, but which would you guess to be louder 2 12s or a 15? Its a 97 maxima and it is a daily driver. I have decided on the XXXs, but not sure 1 15 or 2 12s. I am going to go do some research. Thanks for your help.

In all reality, all you need is a single 12 or 15 and youll be happy if you know what you are doing.

Each person is different on how they like their sound. Buy 2 and try a single driver, then try both. If you dont like 2, throw the 2nd one in the garbage.

go with the one xxx 12'' with 1500 watts in 4 cubes. you'll be extremely happy. make sure u have a good alt to handle that without dimming.
