If you had useful info, we could possibly give you a useful answer in return. So find out exact model numbers or RMS wattage and voice coil configuration.

I didn't mean any disrespect, I am new to the sub world. I just have a friend that has two 12s and they are hooked up to a 750 watt amp. That's all I know...

i am assuming they are the older comps. rated at 150 rms each. i have a rockford fosgate amp that will power them perfectly. does 300 watts rms at 2 ohm. ill sell it to you for 65 shipped. look me up i dont keep track of my references(i know i should) but i am legit. friend has a pair of the exact comps on this exact amp in a 01 tarus and it was a REALLY good sound quality set up but got nice and loud too.

and as far as a 750 watt amp. thats probly peak. with a rated rms of about 300 and probly doesnt even do that.

They are the ones with x shape and silver cone if that helps? And with the amp you were talking about, will they be hit fairly decent while still sounding good? @brownvanman

well in my buddys car on rated power hardcore metal sounded great with the double kick and then you could switch to gucci mane and it could get low.

Also, a friend of mine got two 15 inch kickers for Christmas (they are black with the x design) and he hooked them up to a 2400 watt amp and they hit hard. Is this bad? Like are they being over powered? Because they didn't sound distorted or anything
